Letter from Secretary General
Esteemed Participants,
I proudly welcome you all to the third edition of MUNAAL as the Secretary General of the conference. I am Taha Ersoy and I am an 11th-grader at the Ankara Atatürk High School. It is a great honor for me to serve as the Secretary General of such a conference with an amazing organization and academic team. It has been a period of relentless efforts and sleepless nights for our team to finalize the preparations of MUNAAL’24 and make THE conference of the year possible. I thank every single member of our teams for their contributions throughout the difficult times we have experienced.
This is my second year in Ankara Atatürk High School and overall, in Ankara but thanks to the great friends I have made and the welcoming nature of our school club, I easily adapted to Ankara MUN’s. It has always been my dream to organize the MUN conference of my own school and to see that dream come true makes me very emotional. I especially want to thank our Advisor Teacher, Nazan Ayar, for always being supportive and dealing with whatever problem we faced.
The amount of trouble I personally have been through during the preparation phases of MUNAAL is unutterable and I would not be able to overcome the tough challenges we faced if not for our executive team and specifically our Director General, Eylül Koçak. She has been my greatest supporter through my best and worst, yet I can’t imagine ever making MUNAAL’24 possible without her. She has been the backbone of the MUNAAL organization and with the joint efforts of our Directory General, Eylül, and her Deputy, Ecem, we managed to arrange a conference free of charge for applications. I want to also thank my Deputy-Secretary General, Abrek, for being the best Deputy I could ever wish for. I believe that with MUNAAL, we created a family and I am utterly grateful for everyone who supported us throughout the countless months of preparations.

Letter from Director General
Esteemed Participants,
I am eager to welcome you all to this year's edition of MUNAAL 2024 as the Director General of the conference. My name is Eylül Koçak and I am a junior at ANKU schools. It is my utmost honor to organize such an event with a wonderful team composed of talented and passionate people. MUNAAL holds a special place in my heart, last year I had applied to MUNAAL'23 as a delegate before it was cancelled and now I serve as the Director General of the same conference. When I started my journey in 2022 and long before that, my biggest dream was to partake in diplomacy as I had always been passionate about it. Thinking of the entirety of my journey, I could have never been happier to organize an MUN with such an incredible team we have created.
Without our advisor Nazan Ayar, MUNAAL would not have been possible so I am forever grateful. Without my esteemed Secretary General, Taha Ersoy, my partner in crime, my biggest supporter, I wouldn't have been able to come this far or even dream of ever organizing MUNAAL. We overcomed everything together since we started the preperation for the conference. I could not imagine going through it all without him and also his deputy, Abrek who had helped us through everything and lightened the mood whenever we needed with his spectacular humour. I would not dare forget about my deputy Ecem who is also my MUN daughter, who had helped me throughout the journey of organizing this conference, without her I wouldn't have survived the stress we all endured.
The main objective of our team and the conference itself was to organize a conference that would be never seen before, free and well-qualified that highlighted a well prepared Academic and Organization structure and we wanted to organize THE conference of the year as our teams have worked continuously for the past few months. I would urge you all to attend the conference with an open-mind, be well-prepared for your allocations, and to not forget to have some fun during the conference.
